The Outside Sales Representative calls on and services building industry professionals within a territory located in the bustling Southern California area. Working with a knowledgeable sales support team the Outside Sales Representative prospects, negotiates and closes deals and takes orders. Works with vendors to introduce and educate the building professional on new products and product lines. Assists the customer with the proper use and application of building materials and tools.
The qualified candidate must demonstrate excellent customer service and organizational skills. Must be able to take direction from superiors yet be able to set goals and establish a creative and efficient sales approach. Experience and knowledge of the construction industry is preferred as well as a minimum of two years outside sales experience.

The Inside Sales Representative works directly with customers and the Outside Sales Representatives both on the telephone and at the sales counter. Inputs quotes and orders and assists in organizing orders for shipment with operations and purchasing. Maintains organization, stock levels and merchandising of products in the showroom. This position offers growth opportunities in sales and operations careers within Reno Hardware & Supply Inc.
The qualified candidate must demonstrate excellent customer service and organizational skills. Good written and verbal skills are required as well as computer literacy with good typing skills. Experience and knowledge of the construction industry is preferred.

Drives a Class B rated truck on a pre-determined route to deliver and pick up building materials throughout the Southern California area. The Reno Hardware & Supply truck drivers come in contact with the customer more than anyone else at Reno Hardware & Supply, therefore are required to maintain excellent customer relations and the Reno Hardware “Can Do Attitude”. Loads and unloads materials when necessary. Some heavy lifting is required, must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. Inspect trucks and maintain truck log. Keeps trucks clean and in good working condition.
The qualified candidate must have a Class A or B license with a clean DMV record and a current medical card. Excellent customer service skills are required. Excellent attendance and on time record is necessary. Experience is preferred.

The warehouse employee pulls customer orders for will call and delivery, and receives and stores merchandise within the warehouse, yard and showroom. Assists customers with loading and unloading of merchandise. Stages orders and loads delivery trucks for shipment. Keeps warehouse, yard, showroom and offices clean and organized. Inspects equipment and keeps maintenance logs. Assists in maintaining the proper levels of merchandise and supplies.
The qualified candidate must have an excellent attendance and on time record. Excellent customer service skills are required. The candidate must know how to operate a forklift. While performing the duties of this position, lifting of up to 70 pounds will be required. Is responsible for following all safety procedures and rules.
